Whether we like it or not, we remain 'exposed' both in terms of interpersonal contacts in the broadest sense, communication - for example via the Internet - and in the course of carrying out our professional duties. We are observed by superiors, colleagues, clients who visit us, and often by random people who come to our places of work. Open spaces get in the way of concentrating on the task at hand. They also don't help us to carry out our official duties or to think creatively. Is it possible to reconcile the advantages of working in an open space with the advantages of working in isolation? We at CreoConcept think so. The WallE wall, a product in the company's range, can come to the rescue in such moments.
WallE - privacy and comfort
WallE is a glass wall with an LCD film that provides privacy 'on demand' - press the remote control button and the glass wall becomes translucent, click again and the film becomes transparent again. The variable transparency solution is well known and has been in use for a long time, the technology itself in its current form is over 40 years old and is based on the rearrangement of liquid crystals when an electric current is applied or removed, causing the glass to become cloudy or transparent.
WallE walls are a solution for newly designed offices where the client has free space to introduce a wall system with this solution at the design stage.
What are the other benefits of this solution? WallE walls, in addition to their visual properties that provide privacy, also insulate the room acoustically (the product's acoustic insulation ranges from Rw 33 dB to Rw 54 dB) and thermally, by temporarily restricting light from entering the room. This increases the comfort of the people in the room and contributes to energy savings - there is less reliance on traditional air conditioning. Those using WallE walls can enjoy a pleasant visual experience.
Comprehensive with CreoConcept
From the customer's point of view, an important advantage of WallE walls is the lead time for both delivery and the overall project. CreoConcept is the first company on the market to offer a complete product (glass-profile-foil) and its installation, which gives it a major advantage over its competitors. It has an extensive range of machinery, which enables it to monitor all project processes at every stage of production. The company does not need to sub-contract any elements of the work, but carries out the production and assembly itself. As a result, there are no delays and the work runs smoothly. All elements of the WallE wall, such as the aluminium structure, glass or LCD film, are prefabricated at the company's headquarters in Kielce and, in a further stage of cooperation with the customer, are delivered and installed on site by internal, permanently available teams. This significantly reduces lead times and speeds up any technical support during the warranty and post-warranty periods.
Functional WallE
WallE walls are ideal for architectural projects that envisage a kind of spatiality and interpenetration of zones that are accessible to the eye of the "viewer", but where there is a need for separation, e.g. for a confidential conversation, a meeting involving highly confidential information or an immediate so-called "calla", it is possible to separate oneself from those present in the background in a matter of seconds. For this reason, they can be an excellent solution for medical, legal or financial services. CreoConcept has also recently completed the largest project in Poland involving the supply of walls with variable transparency. For one of its clients, the company supplied a total of over 3,000 square metres of glazed walls in the WallE system. The value of the product and its beneficial properties is demonstrated by the fact that CreoConcept decided to implement this solution in its new headquarters - WallE walls were used in conference rooms, meeting rooms and the CEO's office.
