September 25 is an important date: we are celebrating the World Day of Action. On September 25, 2015, UN member states adopted and approved the 2030 Agenda, committing to implementing 17 goals, the fulfillment of which will help eliminate poverty, protect our planet and ensure prosperity for all living on it now and in the future. Since then, a global initiative has been established to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the UN as part of the 2030 Agenda. There are 17 goals, and 169 specific tasks to be done.
We are aware of the fact that business has a huge impact on the implementation of all 17 goals of the 2030 Agenda. That is why at CreoConcept we are actively working to implement:
- Goal 8, “economic growth and decent work”: Goal 8 aims to promote stable, sustainable and inclusive economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. At CreoConcept, we are committed to promoting development policies that support productive activities. We create decent jobs, support entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation. We ensure full and productive employment and decent work for women and men - including young people; to whom we provide equal pay for work of equal value. We do not accept forced labour, modern forms of slavery and human trafficking; we prohibit and eliminate the worst forms of child labour, including the recruitment and use of child soldiers. We protect workers' rights and promote a safe working environment for all, including workers, in particular migrant workers, in particular migrant women and people whose employment is precarious.
- Goal 9, "Innovation, Industry, Infrastructure": Goal 9 aims to build stable infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialisation and support innovation. At CreoConcept, we are committed to influencing the development of reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure of good quality, supporting economic development and human well-being, continuously promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization; improving the quality of infrastructure and achieving sustainable industrial development through increased resource efficiency and the use of clean and environmentally friendly technologies and production processes; supporting domestic technological development, research and innovation in developing countries, including through the implementation of enabling policies, including for industrial diversification and increasing the added value of goods.
- Goal 10, “Reduced inequality”: Goal 10 aims to reduce inequality within and between countries. At CreoConcept, we are committed to promoting and strengthening the social, economic and political inclusiveness of all people, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or economic or other status. We ensure equal opportunities and reduce existing inequalities by eliminating discriminatory laws, policies and practices and promoting appropriate legislation, policies and actions in this area.
- Goal 11, “Sustainable Cities and Communities”: Goal 11 is to make cities and human settlements safe, stable, sustainable and inclusive. At CreoConcept, we offer products that increase the degree of inclusiveness, ensuring sustainable urbanization and participation in the integrated and sustainable planning and management of human settlements in all countries. Our services and products support efforts to protect and safeguard the world's cultural and natural heritage. Their use corresponds to the action of reducing the negative indicator of negative impact of cities on the environment per capita, paying special attention to air quality and the management of municipal waste and other pollutants. Our activities support less developed countries - including through financial and technical assistance - in building sustainable and resilient buildings using local materials.
- Goal 12, “Responsible consumption and production”: Goal 12 aims to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. As part of its implementation, CreoConcept commits to ensure sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources by 2030, continuously develop capacities for the sustainable and ecological management of chemicals and all wastes throughout their life cycle, in accordance with international agreements, significantly reduce the level of these substances in air, water and soil, thereby minimizing their negative impact on human health and the environment. We also commit to significantly reduce waste generation by 2030 through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse, as well as provide access to relevant information and raise awareness of people around the world on sustainable development and lifestyles in harmony with nature.
- Goal 16, “Peace, justice and strong institutions”: Goal 16 aims to promote peaceful and inclusive societies, ensure access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. As CreoConcept, we commit to significantly reducing violence in all its forms, eliminating abuse, exploitation and trafficking in human beings and all forms of violence and torture against children, vigorously combating corruption and bribery, ensuring flexible, inclusive, participatory and representative decision-making at all levels; promoting and enforcing non-discriminatory laws and policies for sustainable development.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals can be seen as humanity's response to the global challenges we face as societies. Their goal is to create a better future for all the inhabitants of the Earth, who, due to our actions so far, are dying prematurely and in large numbers. Working at CreoConcept, we want to delay and, if possible, stop or even reverse this process, and this is exactly what we declare here.
